Celebration Martini

As part of our 100th anniversary celebration, we've crafted a cocktail that you can customize with your favorite Bickford Flavor!

For each serving, you'll need:

Instructions:

  1. Chill martini classes in a freezer or by filling glasses with ice to chill while you prepare the cocktail. Dump the ice before adding the cocktail.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with 1 cup crushed ice. Add vodka and a drop or 2 of Bickford Flavor of choice and shake well. Add more flavor, to taste.
  3. Strain and pour into chilled (but empty) martini glass and top with Champagne.
  4. Garnish with strawberry or fruit of choice.

Chocolate Covered Candy Creams Recipe

Ingredients:

Cream Centers

8 oz cream cheese

2 lbs powdered sugar

1-3 tsp. variety of Bickford Flavors (ex. mint, pure vanilla, almond, anise, rum, cherry, orange, lemon)

Food color of your choice

 

Chocolate for Coating

2-12 oz. bags of milk chocolate chips

Directions:

Soften cream cheese in microwave (approx. 30 seconds) or to room temperature.  Begin adding powdered sugar by the cup and work into cream cheese until it gets to be a firm batter.  Separate the ball into as many different balls as you want flavors.  Take each separate ball and make a well in the center and add food coloring and flavor of your choice.  Knead the dough until desired color and taste.  If dough becomes sticky add additional powdered sugar to get it back to a firm dough.  Once you have flavored all the dough balls decide shape to form cream centers to know what candy is what once it is all covered in chocolate. (ex. of shapes round, square, oblong, flattened balls.)  Melt chocolate in microwave or on stove top in a double boiler.  Dip cream centers into chocolate and cover using a spoon or resting on fork, place on wax paper lined cookie sheet to set.  Once set remove and place in air tight containers.  They are great for a gift for the Holidays!

Raspberry Cheesecake Muffin Recipe

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • ½ tsp. Bickford cream cheese flavor
  • 6 tbsps buter
  • 1½ tsp. Bickford pure vanilla flavor
  • 1 tsp Bickford Raspberry flavor
  • 2½ tsp. baking powder
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

 

Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease muffin tin or line with paper cases. In a bowl, beat together the cream cheese and the Bickford’s Cream Cheese Flavor, with ¼ cup sugar, 1 egg, Bickford's Raspberry Flavor and ½ teaspoon Bickford’s Pure Vanilla Flavor until completely smooth. Put aside for later.  In saucepan, combine the butter, milk and remaining Bickford’s Pure Vanilla Flavor; stir continually over medium heat until butter melts. Cool mixture until warm, then beat in remaining 2 eggs, 1 at a time. In large bowl, combine baking powder, flour, salt and remaining ¾ cup of sugar. Add butter and milk mixture to flour and baking powder mixture and stir until blended. Add raspberries and gently fold into mixture. Divide mixture equally in each muffin tin. Spoon about 2 tsp. of cream cheese mixture on top of each muffin and bake for about 20 minutes.
