Lemon Cake

Featuring Bickford Pure Vanilla and Bickford Lemon Flavor

Ingredients


For Cake:

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 box lemon instant pudding
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tbs. butter, melted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. Bickford Pure Vanilla
  • 1-2 tsp. Bickford Lemon Flavor
For Frosting:
 
 

Instructions
Mix all cake ingredients for 2 minutes.  Scrape bowl and mix for an additional minute.  Pour into greased and floured cake pan.  Bake at 325 degrees.  Cake is done when a toothpick has some crumbs clinging to it.  While cake is cooling, mix lemon pie filling and 1 tsp. of Bickford Lemon Flavor.  Frost cake with pie filling.  Cover and refrigerate.

Chocolate Cheesecake Pudding Shots

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. Irish cream liquor
  • 1/2 c. vodka
  • 1 small package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 TBSP Bickford Cheesecake Flavor
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings (optional for garnish)


Directions:

  1. Whisk together the milk, Irish cream liqueur, vodka, instant pudding mix, and Bickford Cheesecake flavor in a bowl until combined. Continue whisking for 2 minutes.
  2. Spoon the pudding mixture into shot glasses or disposable 'party shot' cups. Chill until set, about 30 minutes. The shots will have the consistency of mousse.
  3. Serve topped with whipped cream and (optional) chocolate shavings.

Red, White, and Blue Stuffed Strawberries

Ingredients:

Approximately 40 average size strawberries
Blueberries
1 small package (4 servings) Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 Cup Whipping Cream
1 Cup Milk
1/2-1 tsp Bickford Flavors Almond Flavoring

Directions:
Hull strawberries and then starting at the small end of the strawberry cut first one way then turn strawberry and cut the opposite way approximately three quarters of the way down. Set on a plate, and gently pull the
strawberries open a little bit.

Filling:
In bowl whip cream until stiff peaks form. While whipping, in another bowl, whisk the pudding into the milk. Add Bickford Flavors Almond into the pudding, then fold into the whipped cream until it is completely combined.
Fill storage bag and snip one corner of bag, pipe into strawberries and top with a blueberry.

Peppermint Pudding Shots

Ingredients:

  • 1-3.4 oz chocolate instant pudding
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. Rum Chata
  • 1 tsp. Bickford Flavors Peppermint
  • 1-8 oz whipped topping
  • whipping cream (optional)

Directions:

Mix pudding, milk, Bickford Peppermint Flavor and Rum Chata until smooth and starting to set slightly. Fold in whipped topping and spoon into individual shot glasses. Freeze for at least two hours. Top with whipping cream right before serving.
