Ingredients: 2/3 cup shortening 2/3 cup sugar 4 eggs 2 cups pumpkin 1 tsp Bickford Pumpkin Flavor 2/3 cup water 3½ cups flour 2 tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt ½ tsp baking powder 1 tsp Bickford Cinnamon Flavor 2/3 cup nuts 2/3 cup raisins (optional) Directions: Grease two loaf pans. Cream together shortening, sugar, stir in eggs, pumpkin, Bickford Pumpkin Flavor, Bickford Cinnamon Flavor and water. Blend in flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nuts and raisins. Ingredients: 1 egg white 2 tbs. water 2 ½ cups dry roasted, unsalted nuts ½ cup whole almonds ¾ cup sugar 2 tbs. Bickford Toffee Flavor 2 tbs. Bickford Cinnamon Flavor 1 ½ tsp. salt Directions: Combine all ingredients to coat nuts. Place in a single layer on a slightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes. Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup sugar 2 egg yolks 1 tsp. Bickford’s Pure Vanilla 1 tsp. Bickford’s Almond Flavor ¼ tsp. salt 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 1 ¼ cups chopped almonds ½ cup apricot or raspberry preserves Directions: Beat together butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg yolks, flavors and salt. Mix in flour until well blended. Gather into a ball, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
