Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 1-1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
Directions:
Mix ingredients and pour into a 15”x10”x1” greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Chill in refrigerator completely.
Mint Layer:
- ½ cup butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 Tablespoon milk or half & half
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Bickford’s Peppermint Flavor
- several drops of green food coloring
Mix well and spread evenly over cake and refrigerate until firm.
Chocolate topping:
- ½ cup butter
- 1 lb. chocolate chips
Melt together and spread evenly over the top of green layer.
